Consumer Credit Laws

The federal government maintains a series of laws that protect you, the consumer, from unfair credit practices.

What do you do when you feel that you've been cheated by a lender? Were you told exactly how much interest you would be charged for your loan? Do you feel that you did not get approved for a loan due to discrimination?

These are all serious issues, but the good news is that the government has laws in place to protect you against these, and other unlawful lending practices.
